Jonathon D.  Jaquish
Jonathon Dean Jaquish of Arcade, NY died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville at the age of 45.

He was a very special gift born to Ronald and Gwyneth Jaquish on September 24, 1972 in Olean, NY. He attended Pioneer Central before graduating from Orchard Park High School, W.D. Ormsby Vo-Tech Center and Alfred State College.

He held various occupations as a farmer, cook, rigging and dismantling, auto mechanic and welder. He enjoyed fishing, going for drives and poor attempts at local humor. He was a very long and avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. He became a 32nd degree Mason and was a Free Mason of the the Arcade Lodge #419, Cherry Creek #384, the Valley of Jamestown Scottish Rite Consistory and The Grotto.

Jonathon is survived by his father - Ronald Jaquish of Arcade; his wife - Melinda (Hendrickson) Jaquish, his children: Brooke, Harley and Kirsha of Kennedy, NY; seven grandchildren, his siblings: Mark (Joyce) Jaquish of Yorkshire, Connie (Lee) Massie of Akron, OH, Bonnie (Curtis) Etzel of Colden, Brenda (Mark) Dzamski of Carlsbad, NM, Rene Hall of Rapid City, SD, Sheryl Northrup of Delevan, Kristina (Jerry) Warner of Alden, Amy Slocum of Machias, Daniel (Sue) Jaquish of Monroe, NC, Kathleen Heppner of Freedom; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother - E. Gwyneth Jaquish who passed away December 24, 2017; his grandparents and siblings - Jane Jaquish and Ronafae Pastorius.

A Masonic and Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11 AM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. There will be no prior visitation.

In lieu of flowers and tears, Jonathon's wishes were for donations to be made to the donor's charity of choice.

He was finally chosen to travel farther upon the level of time to that "undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveler returns."
