John W. Kile, of Cheshire, CT, died Wednesday October 23, 2019 in the Masonic Care Home, Wallingford, CT at the age of 69.

He was born May 19, 1950 in Springville a son of Elaine (nee Holts) Kile and the late Dale B. Kile. He served in the U.S. Army from September 1970 through April 1972. He was a civil engineer with the New York State Department of Transportation in Buffalo, enjoyed stock car racing and loved the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife - Claudia (nee Stearns) Kile; two sons - Jabe (Laurie Ferger) Kile of Camillus, NY and Justin (Julie) Kile of Cheshire, CT; two granddaughters - Katherine and Jessica; his mother - Elaine Kile of Pennsylvania; siblings - Julie (Don) Hackett of Southport, NC, Rodney Kile of Arcade, Reta (Joe) Stapleton of Bergenfield, NJ and several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

John was very proud of his parents' membership with the Arcade VFW and wish, in lieu of flowers, that memorials in his name be made to the Arcade VFW, 550 Main St., Arcade, 14009.
