Sharon A. Brown, 72, of Arcade, NY passed away at the Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Machias on Sunday, March 1, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 5, 1947 in Springville, NY a daughter of the late Donald and Betty (Day) Whiting. She enjoyed her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed spending time with the chocolate girls.

Sharon was a teacher's aide at the Arcade Elementary School from 1983-2005.

She is survived by her husband, Max Brown who she married July 10, 1971 in Arcade; her children: Tonya (Mike) Dodge and Tori (Aaron) Felber both of Arcade; her step-children: Wanda (Jerry Cracraft) Brown and Biff (Brigette Myers) Brown both of South Carolina; 4 grandchildren: Kyler Felber, Jordan Dodge, Brady Dodge and Camden Felber; 2 step-grandchildren: Jacob Teters and Amelia (Ian) Scollon; her siblings: Vicki (Ron) Hoffman of Arcade, Larry (Laurie) Whiting of East Arcade, David (Sally) Whiting of Freedom; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother - Ronald Whiting; her step-daughter: Wendy Brown.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
