Mary E. Gilbert, of East Aurora, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Father Baker Manor in Orchard Park at the age of 83.

She was born April 2, 1937 in Carlton, New York a daughter of the late Jesse James and Helen Eleanor (Rudd) Forrester.

She worked in the die cast department at Prestolite in Arcade until she retired in 1992.

Her husband, Robert H. Gilbert Sr., who she married February 6, 1954 in Pike, NY passed away in 2012.

Mary is survived by her children: Robert (Deanna Clark) Gilbert of East Aurora, Diane (Belva) Bentham of Castile, Kenneth (Christine) Gilbert of Warsaw; her siblings: Evelyn VanDusen of Colorado and Robert (Pauline) Forrester of Hume, NY; also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings: Marie Antoinette, Arthur Forrester, Calvin Forrester, Paul Forrester, Jean Gibson and Betty Murphy.

There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
