Ronald J. Ward, of Freedom, NY passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at E.C.M.C. at the age of 78.

He was born January 16, 1942 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Herb and Jean (Norman) Ward. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Arcade and was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean and Vietnam War.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Morrison Railroad in West Seneca.

Ronald is survived by his children: Norbert Nadolny of Arcade, Marge Waldron of Buffalo and Kathleen (Mike Perry) Golabek of Colden; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and 2 nephews.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean (Albright) Ward whom he married in November 1972 in Niagara Falls; his daughter, Geraldine Trala and his sister, Penny Willard.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 417 W. Main St., Arcade where Rev. Joseph Gullo will officiate.
