Brian D. Eley of Java Center, NY passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Buffalo General Hospital at the age of 61.

He was born September 5, 1958 in Buffalo, NY a son of Barbara (nee Spencer) Eley of North Java and the late Charles Eley. He was a member of the East Aurora Moose Club and the Sons of the Legion in Stryerksville.

He was a retired Corrections Officer for the Wyoming Correctional Facility in Attica, NY.

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Shirley (Romesser) Eley who he married February 29, 1992 in Sheldon, NY; his children: Charles (Jess Jones) Eley of Berkshire, NY and Emily Eley of Silver Springs; his sister, Deborah Graham of Batavia as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 3-5 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be made to the Sons of the Legion, 3960 Main St., Strykersville, NY 14145.
