Obituary

JoAnn M. Millar of Sardinia, NY passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at her residence at the age of 75.

She was born October 1, 1944 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Henley) Guizzotti, Sr. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Sardinia, was the president of the Chaffee-Sardinia Senior Citizens and enjoyed camping and traveling.

She worked at the Pioneer Central High School for 28 years and was a cook in the cafeteria.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell T. Millar who she married on May 9, 1969 in Cheektowaga; her children: Robert (Deborah) Beaudette of Williamsville, Thomas Beaudette of Las Vegas, NV and Robin (Andrew) Beyer of Wheatfield, NY; her siblings: Charles (Sharon) Guizzotti of Buffalo, Joseph Guizzotti, Jr. of Yorkshire, Geraldine (Gregory) Long of Melbourne, FL; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carmella Foster.

Friends may call on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11 AM with Pastor Glen Mueller officiating. Interment will be held in Eagle Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227, the Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Department, P.O. Box 203, Chaffee, NY 14030 or to the Church of Christ, P.O. Box 186, Sardinia, NY 14134.

Joanne was a beautiful lady she always hit a smile when you walked into the kitchen you knew you were welcome she would say hi to everyone and was a easy-going person I can't say enough about her but she was great May you rest in peace Joanne

I want to send my condolences to the family. JoAnn was a great "second" Mom to me growing up, just a great person and fun to be around. I will miss her dearly. Rest in Peace JoAnn.
