Your tribute to your dad is beautiful Jody. He used to talk about taking you going out for slurpees, a tradition that continued with your children. He was so proud of you and the kids. I remember the time that you wanted a Barbie pool for Christmas. I think that your dad went to every store in the area. I knew that if anyone was going to find one it would be your dad. And he did. Everyone loved working with your dad. He worked hard and kept the mood light. I'll always remember the talks that we had, over bad coffee, when things got slow on the night shift. We always had fun with you guys at the family picnics. Stay strong.

Since I’m having a hard time having putting my dad under hospice care. I’m just going to say some things about him ok.

My dad & mom adopted me, and brought me home on Xmas eve 1975.

My dad was never lazy. He was a working man all his life. A plant manager at Bethlehem Steel then onto Dunlop/year as a head electrician. He worked hard. Never complained, never swore either.

He was an easy going, patient man. The kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He was always helping someone.

His favorite spot to vacation with mom was Vegas. 4x a year. He loved his ice cream. He took my mom and I on vacations all over. Never said no.

My dad did the greatest belly flops in our pool & a fantastic Grover impression.

Then he became a grandpa. His entire life revolved around his little guy, Brandon. Then Katie, Shane & Vicki. He & my mom both were the proudest grandparents ever.

My dad in my eyes, was the greatest man I ever knew. Thanks for the slurpees & hot dogs in the summer. For getting me a kitty, even when you knew you were allergic. Thank you for making my life the greatest ever. And most of all you loved me for me. I hope somehow you understand what I did today by giving you morphine in comfort care is for you to get peace. I will cherish you always and forever. ❤️💔
