Obituary

Irene C. Brant of Bliss, New York passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at her residence at the age of 76.

She was born April 29, 1944 in Austria a daughter of the late Harlan and Dorthea (Wallice) Ditcher. She was a founding member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Gainesville. She enjoyed ceramics, dolls, reading, cooking and baking.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent Brant who she married April 4, 1964 in Farnham, NY; her children: Todd (Charlene) Brant of Hunt, Kevin (Sara) Brant of Portageville, Andrew Brant of Warsaw and Timothy Brant of Bliss; her grandchildren: Nichole Brant, Tyler Brant, Michaela Cooley, Kevina Brant and Vincent Brant; her great-grandchildren: Theodore, Benjamin and Kennedy; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth (Verna) Ditcher.

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 11 AM - 2 PM at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church, 4377 Rt. 78, Gainesville, NY 14066 where a Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Ronald Brown officiating. Interment will be held in Lyonsburg Cemetery in Bliss.

Memorials may be made to the New Beginnings Fellowship Church or to the Eagle Hose Company, 6655 Rt. 362, Bliss, NY 14024.
