Obituary

Richard A. Bailey, Sr. of Arcade passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 73.

He was born July 21, 1947 in Springville, NY a son of the late John F. and Rita (Murray) Bailey. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the Arcade VFW.

He worked for the United States Army and was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Candace (Paulson) Bailey; his children: Richard A. (Lynnette) Bailey Jr. of Virginia and Timothy Bailey of Massachusetts; his grandchild: Tatyana Bailey of Virginia; his brother, Fred (late Cindy) Bailey of Arcade; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann (Wallace) Sugg.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

OUR THOUGHTS & PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU @ THIS TIME DICK WAS ALWAYS A GREAT GREAT LONG TIME NEIGHBOR OF OURS IM SO GLAD WE GOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS TOGETHER ON YOUR FRONT PORCH BACK IN THE DAY & I WAS ABLE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY AS A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN A FEW TO MANY TIMES I GUESS REST EASY OUR FRIEND, OUR NEIGHBOR, OUR VETERAN THE WINDSOR FAMILY.
