Robert W. Hubbard of Arcade passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 92.
He was born on December 29, 1927 in Naples, NY a son of the late Lynn and Amy (Bartholmew) Hubbard. He was a member of the Freedom Senior Citizens and the Sandusky Baptist Church. He was also a WWII Air Force Veteran and served from 1946-1949.
He was a welder for the Operating Engineers Union Local 832 in Rochester. Afterwards, he worked for the Town of Naples Highway Department
He is survived by his wife, Lorane (Lilly) Hubbard whom he married on March 21, 1969 in Naples; his children: Sheila Campbell of Tampa, FL, Stephen MacIntyre of Henrietta, NY, Michelle (James) Schuster of Tampa, FL, David (Becky) MacIntyre of Pittsford, NY; step-children: Ronna (Steve) Lund of Arcade, Joseph (Denise) Fox of Freedom, James (Linda) Fox of Wayland, NY, Eric (Kathleen) Fox of Waverly, TX; also survived by 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Doris Kramer and Carolyn Lord, and grand-daughter, Caitlin Fox Tohm.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date with final interment to be held at Freedom Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sandusky Baptist Church (11487 NY-98 Freedom, NY 14065) or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (262 S. Danny Thomas Blvd. Memphis, TN 38105).
